Luxurients takes home Great Taste 2025 award for its Premium Kashmiri Saffron

Judged by the Guild of Fine Food’s expert panel, Luxurients Kashmiri Saffron is awarded a Great Taste 3 star in the world’s most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme


Luxurients Ltd, based in London, UK has been named among the top food and drink producers globally this year, picking up a highly prized 3-star Great Taste award for their Premium Kashmiri Saffron.


14,340 products were put through the competition’s rigorous blind judging process; and Luxurients Kashmiri Saffron was dubbed “a wonderful, quality product with long lasting flavour”at the world’s most coveted food and drink awards.

3,899 products were awarded a Great Taste 1-star – ‘food and drink that delivers fantastic flavour’,

1,508 were awarded a Great Taste 2-star – ‘above and beyond delicious’, and

only 273 were awarded a Great Taste 3-star – ‘extraordinarily tasty food and drink’.


Described as:


“Vibrant and bright, long saffron threads that deliver a rich colour and earthy aroma. Strong, floral and woody.”

this product impressed the judges across all sensory criteria.


Made from Grade I ISO 3632-certified saffron, grown in the Himalayan region of Kashmir and hand-harvested by local growers, the saffron threads are sun-dried and meticulously packed to preserve potency. Luxurients Kashmiri Saffron was one of just 5,680 products to receive any award from Great Taste in 2025 — only 39.6% of all entries.

Judging in 2025 took place over 110 days with more than 500 expert judges, including chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers, tasting and evaluating entries from 110 countries worldwide.
